Re the RSM manual, from Mel Wainwright: “Thank you for being there to explain the principles of breeding. Your patience and clear explanations were testament to your wealth of experience as a breeder and as a teacher”.
“It was such a comfort to know that I had
someone to talk too. I felt so comfortable being able to ask you those ‘silly’

“I really appreciated having you on stand

DID YOU KNOW? The 'average' gestation for horses is 340
days, but 'normal' gestation can be as short as 320 days and as long as 370
days. The longest recorded successful gestation was 445 days, although
most foals born after an extended gestation are small in size due to delayed
uterine development.
'Maxencia' a thoroughbred mare owned by Ronald and Valerie
Rauscher of Co. Tipperary, Republic of Ireland, gave birth to 17 foals as of
May 1998.
